Several years ago, while visiting my best friend in San Francisco, I found a long, skinny, scaly tendril on the ground. It had dropped from one of the magnificent Norfolk Pine trees growing near the Presidio. I held onto my spiny treasure until recently when I broke it into pieces which I gave to my favorite mold maker. He did a beautiful job and my "California" necklaces, earrings & bracelets are the result.
These earrings are made from 2 of the small pieces, cast in 10 k yellow gold, set with 2 small 1.8 mm round persian turquoise balls and hung on solid 14k ear wires.

Received my gorgeous gold Norfolk Pine with a tiny turquoise piece today. LOVE them. They are the perfect size-- just right. Within the first hour of wearing them, I received two compliments! Thank you Jennifer Tull Westberg Jewelery!
