I threw this porcelain vessel on the potter's wheel using a swirl of lovely cobalt blue and white porcelain. I carved in accents, added underglaze, high fired with clear glaze on the outside, deep blue celadon on the inside, and then finally added iridescent Mother Of Pearl luster overglaze accents to both inside and outside. The optional cork stopper is hand cut and tinted with food safe colorant.
This little vessel is a perfect salt, spice, potion, or stash jar. It can also hold jewelry, small precious keepsakes, homemade balms, or healing ointments. The glazes used on this piece are all food-safe. Please hand wash only and DO NOT put in the microwave.
The dimensions (without the cork stopper) are approximately 2" tall x 2.6" wide (4.8cm x 6.7cm) and the weight is 3.3oz (.094 kg).
Each piece I create is one of a kind and takes many hours of joyful labor to complete.
