Blue & Green Porcelain Urchin Vessel: Wheel Thrown, Hand-Carved with gold Luster

I threw this porcelain vessel on the potter's wheel using a swirl of lovely cobalt blue and white porcelain. When it was leather-hard I carved in the pattern and painted dark indigo underglaze into the incisions. I applied a chartreuse high-fire glaze to the inside and a clear high-fire glaze to the outside. Finally I added Mother of Pearl overglaze and 22k yellow gold luster. It can be purchased as is (vessel only) or with a small natural cork stopper. It reminds me of a sea urchin.
This little vessel is a perfect salt, spice, potion, or stash jar. It can also hold jewelry, small precious keepsakes, or even homemade balms or healing ointments. The glazes used on this piece are all food-safe. Please hand wash only and DO NOT put in the microwave.
The dimensions (without the cork stopper) are approximately 2.1" tall x 2.75" wide (5.3cm x 6.9cm) and the weight is 5 oz (.144 kg).
