Gold Tone California Coastal Redwood Branch Earrings-Brass with gold filled ear wires

I found this beautiful little branch on the forest floor in a California Redwood forest.
The delicate branch measures 4.1 cm long (including the hanger the length of the earring is 5.6 cm) and approximately 9 mm wide (at the widest part). The dangling part is cast in brass and the hand made ear wire are 14/20 gold filled wire.
This brass alloy is a nice bright yellow (quite similar in appearance to 18-karat yellow gold) and it does not turn my skin funny colors when I wear it! Every person has a different skin chemistry and therefore a different relationship to brass jewelry, so I cannot predict how it will react to everyone, but it has passed my test.
Please note: This is raw brass, it is not plated (I do not plate my jewelry because the plating always wears off) and it is not clear coated, so it will tarnish over time and need a little polish with a jeweler's cloth once in a while, especially if not being worn or stored in sealed plastic.
