A solid sterling silver Crape Myrtle Pod is perched atop a rustic sterling silver twig band and a gorgeous deep red genuine ruby is nestled at its center.
This is a one of a kind ring that I constructed during the NYC Covid 19 lockdown in April 2020. I had all the parts as raw silver casts for quite a while, and it was fun to finally make a special ring from them. The ruby is recycled from a vintage earring, and all the sterling silver used for the cast is also recycled.
My husband found the Crape Myrtle seed pod that was molded to make this ring in Florida.
This ring is US Size 8.25, but it can be strecthed to US size 8.5 as well. If you would like the US Size 8.5, please make a note stating this at checkout.
